The final track of S Tier is one that has potential to grow higher on the list with time, since this track is in fact a time capsule. "Fed me Skittles on a burial ground! Gave me rabies in the back of my car! Shove that dagger through the back of my heart. The guitar is too damn good, the vocals are sexy and smooth, it's just damn good quality DGD. The solo single, albumless track that perfectly gives off vibes of summer time with metalcore. The beginning is crazy, talks of growing up and forming a serious relationship, before delving into a more emotional second half of trying to make up the break up. Still, this is a song with so many layers it does so much yet feels like a complete package. You gotta really like DGD to appreciate this one, since it heavily depends on Tilian's super high vocals here and some of Jon's more intense screams.

Opposite of number 9, I'd say this is one of the lesser accessible songs for new fans. This is probably one of the most accessible songs for newcomers on the S Tier, it's catchy and super great for showing the best of both singers. Mothership was such an amazing album for making such distinct, unique, and some of the most technically advanced songs from the band, and no other track showcases that quite like Deception. The other massive smash hit from Downtown Battle Mountain 1 alongside Times New Roman this is a track that will have the crowd screaming once the beginning riff is played. The objectively best track to come from the self-titled "Deathstar" album, a major fan favorite song and a crowning achievement of Johnny Craig's vocal prowess. "Couldn't you stay, a little longer? I could really use the extra time." It's a slower song, emotional and with impact. More Kurt Travis, I would probably say I personally like this track a little more than Tree Village, but this one is more obscure and less technically impressive. "Happiness is hard to find, I couldn't catch a break, maybe I am dying inside!" The star single of the Happiness album / Kurt Travis saga of DGD this song grooves and is incredibly memorable, also kicks off the album on a fantastic note. Truly a timeless, legendary song that everyone who likes the genre should listen to and appreciate. The peak of Johnny Craig DGD era, Times New Roman was their first huge hit single that put them on the metalcore / post-hardcore map. #4: ".And I told them I invented Times New Roman" And how can you not love the lyrics "how I wish I could touch you feel you breathe you be just like you~" and "Fighting Cow! How can we forget about you?!" Fast and crazy Jon Mess, catchy and groovy Tilian. Not only my new favorite of the "Robot series" of songs, but an instant top favorite track of all DGD. "I couldn't wait to tap into the brain of my cat! And let him know he's my little baby meow meow boo!" & "And godddd~ doesn't have a plan for me! Gonna be who I'm gonna be, no thanks to you!"ĭGD's newest album Artificial Selection kicked off to an amazing start when this beast was the second single released. It's catchy, the lyrics are fantastic with Tilian's chorus and Jon's crazy lines about cats, the whole band singing gang vocals together, Will rapping and shredding the guitar everything comes together on this track to make for a phenomenal display of skill and experience from every member in the group.

If it was for how hard Man Of The Year hits me emotionally, this song would be number 1 for how stellar it is just to listen to. oh baby, is this song actually so impressive once you take it in. In fact, I overlooked this song on the Mothership album a few times it wasn't until I saw the fans' praise for this track, calling it possibly the best of the band and it encompasses everything they stand for and play. I had it all in the palm of my hand, too late to start it over again, I had it all in the palm of my hand, ran out of time and now it's over, again!"Īnother song that most fans wouldn't be able to fully appreciate if it was their first song, without context from the rest of the band's works. Not about to justify, don't sympathize with my meltdown. Tilian's harsh & quick raspy vocals tear through the song, Jon's crazy low near the end, the breakdown at the end leading into a sad finale this is DGD showing a different and refreshing side that worked so well. It's not like other songs you'd find from the band, thus I wouldn't recommend you start with it, but it's very powerful once you've listened to more of the band to appreciate everything they do here. Both of the current lead singers' favorite song they've created, as well as my own personal favorite, Man of the Year is emotional intensity.
